Meet the Teacher
I am Ms. Fluker one of your 6th grade Social Studies teacher this school year at Salem Middle School. I am excited to begin this school year on this vastly different adventure working with you and your families to build a collaborative learning environment together.
Currently, I reside in Henry County with my husband and four children. My son is beginning 6th grade this year too! Prior to teaching students in Dekalb for the last 10 years I worked in Atlanta Public Schools as an educator while earning my certification at Georgia State University. My Masters in Education Administration was earned at Michigan State University which is where I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Ecology and learned of my love for working with children.
